Paw Prints for March 6th - 10th
In Kindergarten this week they have been reading stories that have a central message. They are also learning lots of different strategies to subtract within 10. Please remember there is no school for Kindergarteners on Thursday, March 16th. We will be registering new Kindergarteners that day for the 2023-2024 school year.
First graders have been reading and decoding long vowel words and writing opinion stories. In math, they have been adding and subtracting two-digit numbers. Second grade is excited about their chicks that are hatching! They also started a new reading unit on fairy tales. Third graders are on their last region of the United States, and they will have learned all 50! They are also working on multiplication sundaes and division donuts challenges. In fourth grade, they are learning about battles of the Revolutionary War, relative pronouns and decimals using fractions.
